The annual function of the school is one the most awaited events for the students during their school life.

Every child, teachers, and even parents of the students wait for the annual function of the school. Everyone gets to enjoy, celebrate, and have fun together. Annual Day is an important element of every school’s calendar. It is a time of celebration, felicitation, feasting, and festivity when students not only present their outstanding performances but also earn awards for their academic and co-curricular achievements. 

It is that time of the year when students of all age groups combine, show their talents, and perform enthusiastically. The annual functions usually include various activities by the students, insightful speeches and lectures by people with valuable experience, competitions, food fests, interactions, etc. Here are some activities that are very common in the annual function of schools. 

Health camps provide students with essential screenings, ensuring potential health issues are identified and addressed promptly. By promoting preventive healthcare, these camps empower students to take proactive steps towards a healthier future.

On December 15 Queen of angels school conducted medical camp in the campus with the help of Mission Hospital.

Sports day brings together the entire school community in a spirit of camaraderie and bonding. Since many sports are also team sports, it binds them together as they have a common goal. Children learn the basics of teamwork and cooperation here, something that stands them in good stead in all aspects of life.

In our school sports day conducted on December 12. Students are participated with spirit and zeal. Winners got prizes on the next day.

World Television Day is celebrated annually on November 21 to highlight television’s role as a key medium of communication and its impact on global awareness, decision-making, and education. The United Nations established this day in 1996 following the first World Television Forum, recognizing television’s growing influence on society.

The theme for World Television Day 2024 is “Accessibility,” focusing on making television content inclusive and ensuring it promotes education, social change, and global connections. This day acknowledges television as a symbol of globalization and a powerful force in shaping public opinion.

Television has evolved significantly since its invention, from black-and-white broadcasts to today’s smart TVs with internet connectivity. Despite the rise of digital platforms, television remains a vital tool for communication and entertainment, connecting people worldwide

The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, is a comprehensive law in India designed to safeguard children from sexual assault, sexual harassment, and pornography. It mandates child-friendly procedures for reporting, recording evidence, and conducting trials to ensure the child’s safety and dignity throughout the judicial process.

The Act defines a child as anyone below 18 years of age and includes provisions for severe punishments for offenders, especially in cases of aggravated sexual assault. It also emphasizes the importance of timely investigation and trial, aiming to complete investigations within two months and trials within six months.

The POCSO Act also makes it mandatory for individuals to report any known instances of child sexual abuse, ensuring that the legal duty to protect children is shared by all.

According to that in our school we celebrated arts fest in November 16. KG students are very actively participated in all programs.
