World Television Day

World Television Day is celebrated annually on November 21 to highlight television’s role as a key medium of communication and its impact on global awareness, decision-making, and education. Television has evolved significantly since its invention, from black-and-white broadcasts to today’s smart TVs with internet connectivity. Despite the rise of digital platforms, television remains a vital tool for communication and entertainment, connecting people worldwide

AWARENESS CLASS FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS

The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, is a comprehensive law in India designed to safeguard children from sexual assault, sexual harassment, and pornography. It mandates child-friendly procedures for reporting, recording evidence, and conducting trials to ensure the child’s safety and dignity throughout the judicial process.

The Act defines a child as anyone below 18 years of age and includes provisions for severe punishments for offenders, especially in cases of aggravated sexual assault. It also emphasizes the importance of timely investigation and trial, aiming to complete investigations within two months and trials within six months.

The POCSO Act also makes it mandatory for individuals to report any known instances of child sexual abuse, ensuring that the legal duty to protect children is shared by all.

Science Experiment

Science experiments in school are a fantastic way to ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning among students. These hands-on activities allow students to explore scientific concepts in a practical and engaging manner. By conducting experiments, students can observe phenomena, test hypotheses, and develop critical thinking skills.

Experiments also encourage teamwork and collaboration, as students often work in groups to achieve common goals. They learn to communicate their ideas, share responsibilities, and solve problems together. Additionally, science experiments can make abstract concepts more tangible, helping students to better understand and retain complex information.

Overall, incorporating science experiments into the curriculum not only enhances students’ knowledge but also inspires a lifelong interest in the wonders of science.

During the Assembly students did science experiment.

KG ARTS FEST

Arts festivals in schools play a crucial role in the holistic development of students. They provide a platform for students to express their creativity, explore their talents, and gain confidence. Participating in arts festivals helps students develop important life skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. These events also foster a sense of community and cultural appreciation, as students learn about different art forms and traditions. Moreover, arts festivals can enhance academic performance by encouraging critical thinking and innovation. Overall, they contribute to a well-rounded education, nurturing both the intellectual and emotional growth of students.

According to that in our school we celebrated arts fest in November 16. KG students are very actively participated in all programs.

CHILDREN’S DAY

Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14th in India to honor the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. Nehru, fondly known as “Chacha Nehru,” was a strong advocate for children’s education and well-being. He believed that children are the future of the nation and emphasized the importance of nurturing and educating them.

On this day, schools and educational institutions across the country organize various activities and events, such as cultural programs, competitions, and games, to celebrate and encourage the talents of children. It’s a day filled with joy, laughter, and learning, as children are reminded of their rights and the importance of their role in shaping the future.

Children’s Day is not only a tribute to Nehru’s vision but also a reminder to society to prioritize the welfare and development of children, ensuring they grow up in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
